Let me know what you think

Media 4.0 ---In Class Video on Convergence

Our discussion will start with these 7 questions. We will go down the numbers addressing them.
1) What do you feel is the right of a media relations spokesperson to set the terms for the media of what and when Lane Kiffin talks?

2) As a young reporter, do you think there is a difference in a media availability and a news conference?

3) In your opinion is there a difference in public vs. private issues anymore thanks in part to youtube, twitter, facebook, etc.?

4) You heard the word embargo and we discussed it in class, do you think there is and can still be such a thing as a company/organization giving an embargo to the media?

5) How did watching this off-camera/on-camera debate change your perspective on what happens behind the scenes between the media and a media relations/public relations person?

6) Do you think the blogs, comments on the blogs, or articles are more effective in understanding the true story of what happened? Which is more objective?

7) If you could give Bill Shory or Bud Ford your take as a young journalist on what happened, who would you say was right and what could have been done differently?
